Dear Morganeers,

The English are not that crazy; Something's happening there! Brexit doesn't seem like such a bad move at all!

Not only were our English friends vaccinating much earlier and faster than we were, they also had the necessary vaccines in house much earlier to be able to do that. Not entirely illogical because before it was called the AstraZeneca vaccine it was just the Oxford vaccine and it's really not going to be much Englisher than that!  No, even when registering you can see that our friends from the UK have new energy... they are already looking ahead to the moment when we can start enjoying our Morgans again! New English registrations come in daily...........

Within 48 hours of the publication of the Anniversary Website, with the call to register your interest in participating in the lustrum weekend in 2022 (to help the organizing team to gauge the interest), the first 34 English license plates were registered, including the first ones on  only three wheels.

Meanwhile in March we have passed the 130 registered teams, with the "right hand drive" Morgans by far the majority. It should not be left unmentioned that our Eastern neighbours are not unconvinced either, and even a Swedish delegation has already signed up for participation during the first two days. Our chairman can probably prepare for an opening speech in many variants in which the "bienvenue mes amis" can no longer be missed.......

The nice thing is that all these foreign guests also immediately report for a hotel room, because if you come to the Netherlands from the UK or Sweden to celebrate your holiday for only about 4 to 7 nights you want a bed ready for you. Driving a campervan can also offer a solution in that regard; there are still 19 of the 20 campingpitches available!

Since hospitality is in the genes of the Anniversary Committee, we will provide a comfortable hotelroom, for all these already registered enthusiasts, according to the "first come, first served" principle..............and with that we already get a very nice international atmosphere in our Anniversary Hotel Mennorode on the Veluwe that according to the current state of affairs is already reserved for about 75% by many Morganeers from all corners of the world.

This requires beautiful routes in the area that are full of beautiful places and interesting sights. Paleis 't Loo and Museum Kröller-Müller should of course not be missing from the list of so many foreign guests, but also The Military Museum in Soesterberg is scheduled for one of the rides, just like Castle de Haere and the IJssellinie, Castle Cannenburch, the Veluwse Steamtrain Cooperation, House Empe, House Voorstonden, Museum de Fundatie, Fortified City of Elburg, Hanzecity Hattem, etc. etc. etc. O, yes, and of course also the only real Dutch "Hill Climb".....

With all the time in the world, at least until 21.00 in the evening...., this is a great time to sort out the routes and translate them all for our international guests, so that a new route is ready for you every day of your stay.

With the Dutch Morganeers it all has to come to life a bit...........do the vaccines come or don't they come, is the Health Service coming upto speed this year to actually ensure that we can return to "the old normal" at the end of the year or do we stay in "lockdown" until the next winter storage?

Now you have plenty of time to make beautiful plans for 2022! Something to look forward to and meet again in optima forma. In a little while the Anniversary Hotel is full. Your Anniversary Committee is now starting negotiations with a 2nd hotel for all registrations from team no. 173! Already 50% of the currently registered teams have expressed an interest in the sports class.
